Hi,
downloaded firefox and got it on the screen. How do I disable ie7?

I don't understand the question i think.
I don't see how the topic is related to "XAMPP for Windows".

You don't need to disable IE7. Just make Firefox your new Default Browser, if wanted.

Hi Altrea, I had a previous posts that is now closed about making my computer to act as a offline server to edit my .pl files.

Anyway, exactly how do I change default browsers?

The other topic was closed. This is a fresh subject unrelated to your previous topic.

In Firefox click on Tools>Options>Advanced>General Tab then tick 'Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser'

Then click on 'Check Now' and select 'Yes' to the question asked.

Click OK - job done.

I will close this topic now as Altrea pointed out it is not really XAMPP related.
