Hi,

I have a VM with windows server 2008 r2 installed.
i try running Apache with the XAMPP app but apache will not start, this is a fresh install nothing has been install on this OS.

I have ran NETSTAT nothing looks to be using port 80
I have tried chaning the port to 8080 but it will still try for port 80
i have added port 80 to the firewall rules for both ingoing and outgoing.
i have disabled UAC
i have it installed in C:\XAMPP
i even tried the usb one

and also tried running on a windows xp pc still wont work on there that was a VM as well

Also the host PC witch runs the VM has Teamviwer installed but i have told it not to use port 80

dose anyone else have any ideas.

thank you finally have it working.
I had VC++ 2010 installed instead of VC++ 2008

Might want to note that down somewhere.

thank you again
