Apache Friends Support Forum

I've got Apache running on my laptop. PHP seems to be runing fine, but when I attempt to send a sample email form I get an error. I know that there is some adjustment to the php.ini file that needs to be done, but all of the suggested changes that I've seen on the PHP website have already been done. I still cannont connect to the local email server. Any suggestions?
