Set up a shortcut or symlink?

Postby Perad » 29. August 2011 21:13

Hi,

I need to set up a symlink on Windows so I can finish setting up the development copy of my website. Does anyone know how to do it? I created a shortcut and placed it in the relevant file. It works in the file explorer but not in the browser. Do I need to employ some cmd wizardry to get it going? If so does anyone know the command?

symlinks ONLY work on Vista, W2K8 server and Win 7

they aren't shortcuts, they are created with mklink
