Hi,
Please forgive me if my question is a little stupid but im completely new to this type of thing.
Essentially, ive installed Xibo onto a Win2003 Server with SP2. As part of the installation process, Xibo recommend that Xampp is installed to facilitate the database back end for Xibo.
Xibo is working fine. However, there is a maximum file size upload restriction (64mb) which i need to amend on the database so im told. Herein lies my problem.
Within the installation notes, it was recommended that i set a root password, because if i didnt, then anonymous root access to the phpmyadmin console would have been possible via a web browser on the local LAN.
So ive set a password, but now when i try to access phpmyAdmin from within the xampp contol panel application i cant get access via the web browser, I simply get an error message saying:-
'phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.'
Can anyone give me any pointers to get me back on track? Essentially i need to be able to fix this, and then edit the DB settings to allow file uploads up to 500mb, rather than the rather paltry 64mb!
Best Regards,
Revingtosh
