xampp error

Xampp have a shortcut on my desktop... so when i am trying to open xampp i receive this error
{ XAMPP COMPONENT STATUS CHECK FAILURE [2000275118]
Currenty Directory c:\xampp
Run this program only from your Xampp root directory }
Why ?
Does anyone know any solution for this ?
I have installed xampp in a Windows server 2003 .

A few threads down in this forum is a Topic "Component Status Check failure [3] error".

I think someone you can create a topic here is able to scan the board first, which costs only some seconds.
