Hello fellas,

I have been toying with this awesome tools of perl, php, SQL and so on. I finally got it work on my local machine. I am a little afraid to try it on box servers since I am really new to this. I run OS Win Xp Pro

I already installed one of this premade website called www.e-xoops.com and it also works.

I have 4 servers running right now on windows 2000 servers OS and I want to try it and I will tonight. is there anything different than XP Pro?

However, my question is:

Can I make my Win Xp Pro (local Machine, not server)go to the internet??? I have Road Runner at home and i dont understand about IPs and stuff. I have 3 computers running on a hub and I know they all have different IP addresses.

Well... Like i said... I could not get it to work on my servers...

on my XP local machine it works awesome, however, on my 2000 servers it does not work!!!

any ideas why?
