XAMPP Doesn't work anymore [Solved}

Postby tinthenet » 23. June 2011 21:32

In version 1.6.3 a change the values in C:/XAMPP/APACHE/BIN/PHP.ini to:

max_execution_time = 3600
memory_limit = 512M

I restart XAMPP and I got a fatal error.

I back the values to default.

max_execution_time = 60
memory_limit = 128M

It did not work more :S

Downloading last version (1.6.7), Re-installing the program, doesn't work either.

What I can do? Thanxs!

Did you try uninstalling XAMPP and all of its components and then restarting the computer before reinstalling it?

and do you have windows or Mac OS?

SOLVED!

I install old version (XAMPP 1.6.7) and work without problems!

Is necessary unnistall xampp and confirm delete of all folders. And is not neccessary restart PC.

1.7.4 doesn't work with DLL Postgresql.

1.7.4 doesn't work with DLL Postgresql.

That is very possible. There's a fairly technical reason that might be true. Here's an explanation - it was aimed at PHP, but it equally applies to other DLL'S running under Apache

You would have to check the DLL's 'pedigree'. i.e. What it was compiled for.

I would suggest that you make a new topic with this subject, and maybe someone can suggest a workaround or solution. It also makes it easier for folks who are using Search to find answers. :)

Good Luck
