URI not working properly

Hi,
I have a problem reaching my site. I'm trying to access localhost/mysite/index.php the file is stored in C:\xampp\htdocs\mysite\ so I know that this translates into localhost...

However when I check the error file I can clearly see that it is looking for C:\xampp\htdocs\xampp\htdocs\mysite which clearly does not exist. I can't figure out why this happens, especially since I have another site on the same local server which is working perfectly fine on localhost/anothersite/index.php

Any suggestions?
