New install of xampp 1.7.4 on Windoz XP.
mysqldump will not work!
Produces:
mysqldump: unknown variable 'set-variable=max_allowed_packet=16M'
my.ini contains:
[mysqldump]
quick
max_allowed_packet=16M
mysqldump error

make the SQL file in 2 parts and then upload , your problem will be solved, maximum size exceded ... Error

The error mesage says "UNKNOWN VARIABLE".
