Hi,

I opened xampp control panel and Apache and MySQL is working and the green label (running) is displaying next to them
When I open a browser the connection with Apache disappeared and the page not displayed

I tried to change the port to 85 instead of 80, and tried to work on other browsers (IE & FF), tried to restart PC --- uninstall and reinstall xampp--- but the same problem occurs
could you help me

Return your httpd.conf file back to the default settings then restart Apache and then read the \xampp\apache\logs\error.log file for clues.

No problem and no need to do anything about it as the moderator will move it automatically.

Hi,

I checked the error log, but it display symbols as the following (same statement multiple time):

[Sun DC3SOH

DC3 & SOH with a black background...

Any suggestions?

You can drag and drop the error.log file found in the \xampp\apache\logs folder into your notepad or similar text editor.

Never seen a apache error log file looking like that.

How are you trying to read it?

I already did, this result using notepad++
