Should be a relatively quick question here. I was running XAMPP last month on my laptop for a website (domain registered with Godaddy) fine. Because I am on a dyanmic IP, I would always have to find out my IP, copy and paste it into the DNS Manager in GoDaddy's control panel under "@" Host. I could access the webpage under the domain name anywhere as long as my Apache XAMMP was running on my laptop.
I didn't touch it for a while but decided to get the website up and running again. I am following the same steps but am getting a "The connection has timed out" when I type the URL into firefox. I uninstalled/reinstalled XAMPP and re-copied the htdocs folder. I don't believe
I have made any modifications to anything else in my computer besides that, but who knows.http://127.0.0.1/
all point to the correct index.html home page.
