Hi,


I'm having a problem with my filezilla server not starting back up after install. When I first install every thing works and I can use filezilla ftp to connect to my site. After I turn the pc off and back on my filezilla server doesnt start. Any idea what i'm doing wrong? I reinstalled and the same thing happened.

I run the eampp control panel

Apache starts running
MySql starts running
FileZilla doesnt do anything.

I click start next to file zilla and it says

Busy...
FileZilla started

but then it never says its running.

I went to the filezilla files in my xampp folder and tried to start the server there and nothing happens. I think this is why i'm not able to connect to my site via ftp.

Any idea how to make it work?

Also do i need to use ftp to access the localhost files? Can I just edit and save them from where they are on my hard drive? If so whats the file path?

Any idea why this is happening?

I have the same problem with version 1.7.1, I am using xampp for while now. I switched to a new PC, installed xampp as usual and now filezilla would't work.

Having the same problem, any one solved this issue? I am thinking of reinstall xampp just for this issue
