I have problems installation, launch the set-up of xampp on OS windows 7 happens a fatal error not completing installation

Have you installed XAMPP before and not uninstalled the older version as per the uninstall instructions?

Uninstall and then delete the 1.7.4 installer version xampp folder.

Download the 1.7.4 zip version, extract to the C:\ drive and then run setup_xampp.bat file in the C:\xampp folder - should fix your problem.
