Apache never loads my website

Postby colin3440 » 12. February 2011 01:02

I'm having trouble with apache running on my windows 7 machine. Every 5-10 page refreshes of my site seems to cause apache to stop responding. I don't get any errors (including in the apache error.log file) and it never times out but nothing on localhost will load. That includes phpmyadmin, all of my websites, and place that starts with http://localhost/. The only thing I can do to fix this is restart Apache through the XAMPP control panel which is a real pain in the butt. Has anyone experience this problem before? I'm not sure if it's being caused by the website I'm running but that would be Drupal.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Which version of XAMPP?
Which browser?
Have you tried with another browser to see if it is only browser related?
Try empty your browser's cache (Temporary Internet Files).
Try and increase the size of your browser cache, perhaps.

Any clues in the Event Viewer/Applications from the Administrator Tools menu.

Good luck and best wishes. :)
