Apache Friends Support Forum

As long as I have my web pages in xamp\htdocs, can I use VWD 2010 or VWD 2008 to edit web pages in html with .css files? Is it possible to put php code on code behind pages?
Or, is there some program part of XAMPP which I should use to make web pages?
