problems with apache on xampp

Hi
The last few days I have had some problems with apache on xampp
every time i try to go to my localhost or 127.0.0.1 apache simply shuts down i have not installed
anything new on my pc i have tryed to deactive my anti virus to see if that was blocking it
i simply cant find a reason for why this is happening i've used xampp for quite a while now
but never had this problem before does anyone have a sugestion to what could have happend?

should also mentioned i've also tryed to do a complete reinstall of xampp this had no effect either.

Try running the setup_xampp.bat file again and this time disable mod_perl - option 6, I think.

when i opened setup_xampp.bat it shows sorry but nothing to do ...
