I just installed xampp in my window xp professional, I tried to running the files with -html extension, but it doesn't work, anyone can help me, give me any suggestion?

Thats has more or less nothing to do with a good error reporting.
Please try again better.

What is in the file?
What is the expected result by executing the file?
What is the result you get?
Do you get any error messages?
We know absolutely nothing about what you are doing there.

I tried to run html which contain php file (file:///C:/xampp/xampp/htdocs/day.html)
but nothing displayed

sorry the topic should be 'How to configure xampp to run php scriot in files with a html extension'
