XAMPP does not say that MYSQL is running...although it is

Hi,
Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.
I'm using XAMPP for Windows 1.7.3.
I have the control panel version 2.5.8.

I have XAMPPLITE installed on an external drive (E:\xampplite\).

I start XAMPP. Everything seems fine. The MySQL gui (SQLyog) logs into MySQL, no problem.
I look at the control panel. It states that Apache is running.
However, it does not indicate that MySQL is running. When I click on START for MySQL, the control panel say that it is "not responding" and crashes. The MySQL and Apache are not affected.

Is this something to be concerned about? Should I re-install xampplite?

Thanks!

No, nothing to owrry about, plenty of other reports here in the forum on it - its a known, non-performance-affecting presentation-only bug.
