My current patch is c:\xamppI and tried to make xampp portable with no drive letter option but when I run the apache from different path let say d:\xampp it wont start. every other service including tomcat is working. am i missing anything.

What does the error.log file in xampp\apache\logs\ have to say about not starting?

Did you run setup.bat file again from the D: instance of XAMPP?

Did you stop the Apache server in the patch C:\xamppl (typo perhaps?) before trying to start it in the D: drive?

Only 1 server at a time can be started to listen on a single port like port 80 for example.
