Hello,

After I have started Apache and MySQL I want to go to http://localhost. When I go there, my computer automatically restarts. I don't do anything strange, so I do not understand why this happends. Btw: I have Windows XP.

Am I doing something wrong? I hope there is someone who can help me.

I have Service Pack 3
Windows XP Professional, version 2002

Well, its very hard to say - could be a lot of things, but I'm betting on a browser related issue.

Whatever browser you are using, try XAMPP after freshly installing a new shine clean browser. Just make it a clean install of the browser, there are lots to pick from, so it shouldn't be all that hard. Just one that you DON'T have installed now.

If you are running IE and don't have Firefox, its the best choice
Otherwise -
Chrome is cool, so is Safari - or go really different with Opera! - yeah different all righty , LOL.
