problem getting old XAMPP

Postby argie01 » 12. November 2010 14:08

Hi,

I need to install Xampp with mysql version 5.0.32. How could I know what old version of xampp I should download?

And besides it, that old version will work fine togheter with the tomcat addon?

thank you!

The solution is actually not all that difficult -

Go to this page -

http://sourceforge.net/projects/xampp/files/

Dig back quite a few versions -

Download the zip package - read the 'readme_en.txt' file - it lists the contents of the distribution, its like a packing list.

I suggest you look around version 1.4

there, now that's not so difficult is it?

You can read the File info with all the versions of components directly at sourceforge.
At the end of the line every file is a "notes icon" you just had to click
We don't provide any support via personal channels like PM, email, Skype, TeamViewer!

It's like porn for programmers 8)

jeez - how cool is that?

On the project I'm on the notes/features are all on the Archive pages, so I'm not used to that method. I'm not the SourceForge Maintainer for the project, so I'm a bit unclear how it all gets packaged.

Thanks for the info...
