hello

I have extracted xampp in C:\
so now i have: C:\xampp

i ran the xampp control panel, and started appache and MySQL.
now when i go to http://localhost I get a message saying: It works!
but what ever i enter other then that it gives me 404 NOT Found, ex:

Not Found

The requested URL /phpmyadmin was not found on this server.

Code: Select all

Not Found

The requested URL /xampp/ was not found on this server.

Code: Select all

Not Found

The requested URL /xampp/splash.php was not found on this server.

even on http://localhost/index.php
the DocumentRoot is set to: C:/xampp/htdocs.

There is another Webserver running instead of XAMPP Apache.
Is there a green "running" label next to Apache in your XAMPP Control Panel?

please rename the file c:\xampp\htdocs\index.html to anything else and try again http://localhost/
