Hide extensions for known file types is ticked off, so the .txt extension problem is not the case i suppose, and i do give the path correctly in my browser address bar.both mysql and apache are displayed as running, and port check also gives that port 80 is used by apache.
i reinstalled xampp and tried again as well
still the same problem, and this is what the error log give, - Code: Select all

please i need to solve this problem, i'm learning php in college and i cannot do my work with xampp not working properly, i dont know what went wrong because it worked when i installed xampp just after i installed windows 7 and suddenly its not working
any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance
