How to upgrade PHP 5.2.9 to PHP 5.3.3(latest version)

Hello dear members, is there anybody who knows how to upgrade PHP 5.2.9 to PHP 5.3.3 on XAMPP 1.7.3(latest version) and upgrade Apache Server the same way. Thanks in advance. Hope to hear from yo soon. Best wishes and regards.

I'm fairly sure you didn't bother to SEARCH FORUM beofre you posted, as I have personally answered this question more times than I can count, once in the past week.

I'll make it simple - you can't. XAMMP is a suite, where the components are compiled and fitted/configured to work together. If you want mix and match components you should install Apache and PHP standalone and integrate them. There is less work to be done that way than to try to learn all the things you need to know/do to 'retro-fit' XAMMP with new parts.
