I am getting ERROR message #1045..
When I try to login to PHPMYADMIN using username: SOMEGUY which password am I supposed to use?
MYSQL SECTION: "ROOT" PASSWORD
OR
XAMPP DIRECTORY PROTECTION (.htaccess)
??
I have tried both of these, also tried stopping and restarting my APACHE and Mysql on my XAMPP Control panel, I even tried clearing the CACHE in my Browser..
If it helps any I am using win. VISTA & FireFox
thanks for your help.

Have you created the MySQL-User SOMEGUY? Then you should know the password.
