Another poster jumped on an open thread and posted a problem with no info (katzinAZ), so the comments weren't addressed to you, take the chiil pill

Note this: I don't see anywhere in this text or the Post Title where it says what version of XAMPP you are running.

BTW - I am aware that is a problem with the BETA version of XAMPP (Apache does not show as running) - BUUUUUT - you are supposed to post Beta problems in the form rpovided on the Beta page.

What is the version number on your XAMPP page or in the readme_en.txt
Its 100% impossible to diagnose a services related problem without knowing the application version, they are all different.
