I'm running XAMPP on a Win 7 netbook. It all ran rather smoothly until the last time I tried to connect to the localhost and all I'm getting now is a 404 error.
I'm using the locally hosted site to lift info from another site. I've configured my IP to be 192.168.0.1 on the Ethernet port, and until recently heading to http://192.168.0.1/index.php would bring my site up. Now, it doesn't do that, and actually going to http://localhost/index.php only brings me a 404 error message. My files are currently hosted in C:/xampp/htdocs/index.php
My routine usually consisted on disabling the WiFi adapter, changing the IP and subnet of the Ethernet port, and running XAMPP. Unfortunately now I can't seem to get anything out of it.
Anyone has any ideas as to what I could look for?
