Installing XAMPP in 64 bit Vista machine

Postby WallyIII » 09. August 2010 00:50

I've installed XAMPP on my 64 bit Vista Machine via a download. The control panel does come up from the shortcut installed, but when I enter http://localhost in my browser, a welcome to IIS 7 screen comes up. I admit to being a neophite, and trying to set this up so as to teach myself Drupal from a book.

Thanks for any help.

If you don't need IIS, just uninstall it.
We don't provide any support via personal channels like PM, email, Skype, TeamViewer!
