Hello, my name is marcus .i am having a problem making xampp live.

i have just installed XAMPP now what would i do next?
i have xampp on http://localhost/xampp/
but i want to install joomla on XAMPP make it live on the net
also how would i do this ??

- configure your Router (portforwarding for port 80, 443 if needed)
- define exceptions for the services in your firewall.

Sorry, i don't understand the question.
localhost is just a domainname / alias for the local ip 127.0.0.1.
Right after the XAMPP "installation", You can reach your Webserver through your public / private LAN IP, too.
