Upgrade 1.7.1 to 1.7.2

Postby CTS_AE » 19. July 2010 02:58

I was wondering why there's no upgrade from 1.7.1 to 1.7.2
was there just a really big change?

Also are there any consequences/side effects that could happen if I install the newest version on top of 1.6.7?
I've surely configured a few things to my liking here and there, that I'm sure I took forever to figure out, and I wouldn't want to do it all over again, but I think most of the stuff I did was modifying the php settings and installing stuff like curl.

I'm guessing php has upgraded with version 1.7.2 is what it sounds like, thus the best thing to do is just screw the updates and jump to version 1.7.3 ?

lol all this just so I can access a sqlite3 db bah!
at least it's a great learning curve
and it sounds like you need the newer php anyways for sqlite3

There is no Update and there will never be.
The changes of the versions (espeacially the move from PHP 5.2 to PHP 5.3) were too big.
