Dear, sorry for my bad english, i'm italian..
i can't find in Italy a solution so...

Windows 7 Ultimate, firewall OFF, used "installer", i put in the folder c:/program files/, "Port check" give status FREE.

So when i try to modify the file config.inc with wordpad, it give me an "access at c:.... denyed"

Where's the problem?

The answer is to install XAMPP in C:\xampp. (the default).
