xampp service mercury memory leak?

Postby cgarcia109 » 28. June 2010 15:08

xampp_service_mercury.exe must have a memory leak.
Installed mercury as a windows service. After a few hours running (10+). I noticed that the used virtual memory was around 2.4Gb. Killed the xampp_service_mercury.exe proccess (mercury kept running), and that freed around 1.5Gb of virtual memory.
xampp 1.7.3

I have done one myself adapting a code that i found out there.
Source, binary & instructions included inside.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=23U6OXY4

Place it in <xampp-dir>/MercuryMail and install "m32service.exe -i"

Works like loader.exe from mercury. Checks if mercury.exe has been closed and launches it again.

Havent found a way to start minimized so i manually minimize the mercury window (the first time, not when you explicitly opens it).

Works for me: but i cant guarantee it will work for you, Use at your own risk
