I have re-built my server, re-installed XAMP and installed my website [url]http://tascarhome.selfip.com/index.html
[/url] but the webilizer history file is not updating since I put my web site into htdocs. what have I done wrong? and what do I need to do to get it working?

Not sure exactly which log you mean but if it's xampp/apache/logs/access.txt then yes that is being updated, have not looked at the file but the date modified keeps updating.

If this is not the file which one do I need to look at?

Have you run Webalizer since converting? - it does not automatically 'do' anything... It has to read through the Apache log(s), crunch the numbers and output them, then... ==> that's is what updates the webalizer history (its a snapshotting system).

The history of your old server was in that 'old server' -- webalizer.hist, along with those .png files. I think you 'might' be able to concatenate the files but I'm not sure.

After reading the Doc you pointed me to and looking at the Webilizer Dir, I looked at the batchfile and the first thing it did was look to see if a LCK file existed, so checked that out and I two LCK files, so I deleted them, then restored my old access file, used Notepad to cut and paste in to the main access file, ran Webilizer and all is now Ok.

LOL - now I have to figure out why and how a WP install archive that has the right checksum could be missing a file, LOL...

You should check out that you are updating it perfectly and then saving the updates and properly loading again. It will not happen all the things right than no problem will be there.
