Making XAMPP and Eclipse IDE work together

Postby newprint » 13. June 2010 21:18

Hi !
My previous question was resolved. I was able to get php Admin panel to run, by opening all the necessary ports in MS firewall.

Now, I am running into another problem. I can't run any code in Eclipse !!!!!!
The workspace for projects is C:\xampp\xampp\htdocs.
Below is the message I am getting, while trying to run the code.

Code: Select all
Object not found!

are you sure this is right?

"The workspace for projects is C:\xampp\xampp\htdocs."

Normally the htdocs folder is under c:\xampp. If you need a separate workspace for Eclipse, it probably shouldn't be under /xampp due to the Apache configuration. Try placing your Eclipse workspace in a folder of its own at the same level as htdocs. i.e. c:\xampp\eclipse or c:\xampp\eclipse\workspace.

Good Luck
