Yes, now modify the directive I told you about and restart Apache.

it does.

BUT: if you really believe, that you can manage all that stuff WITHOUT ANY KNOWLEDGE, you are simply wrong. Either the forum cannot help you with only a few postings.

You cannot setup Apache, MySQL, PHP, (Linux?), Joomla and and and without the slightest idea of what you are doing there. You should take your time, read tutorials, try to understand how these tools are working and how they are working together - we cannot (and will not) explain all these stuff in a few postings. This is quite impossible.

If you think i have no knowledge than "YOU" are simply wrong. I have been managing Microsoft server 2003 and MS SQL server 2005 for quite some time now.

I familiar with using XAMPPas AS A TEST SERVER and not web. My simple question was, "How to point my URL to the web folder?".

As soon as Radzio said DocumentRoot and httpd.conf i went straight to apache.org and started reading documentation.

Nobbie, i was not asking for you to brake everything down and teach me, i was asking for a starting point. A piece of information that i could use to figure out the rest of the puzzle.

PS. I did figure it out, and now my website is up and running and on its way to becoming fully secure. :D
