hi
when i am starting mysql in xampp it is starting and showing green.within 10 seconds it is going off.
how to resolve the problem.

- take a look in the apache mysql error file for error-messages
- check if port 3306 is free to use (xampp-portcheck)
- if you use an OS (like Windows Vista/7, Windows Server 2008) with the new UAC, start the control-panel as administrator
