SOLVED!! access across lan to wife's xampp joomla installtn

SOLVED!! Can't get access over network to xampp on wife's comp. I see her comp on lan but Http://localhost/fcco/administrator ( this is a joomla install on local host. I have xampp running on my comp & hers. probably some syntax issue but I am stumped

localhost is only related to your own computer.
If you want to access an xampp on another computer you had to request it by its local or public IP-Adress or its computer name.
Maybe this brings you a little bit further.

thank you, I found that by accident when I found three objects in the network map for my wifes comp, I checked the properties of each & I found on the original (first created since i recognized the name) named , the IP (172.16.2.2) addy. then I used localhost & IP which u no didn't work, then I tried the IP and directory/administrator & I was in the back end of my joomla build.

sometime it is a small thing that stops all. thanks to all forumers for their help. I too will help when I know an answer
