Apache won't start after ASP.NET mod

So I was a little foolish and installed a ASP.NET mod for an older version of xampp. After doing so, and reading a little further that it wasn't needed, I undid all the mods to the httpd-xampp.conf file and tried restarting Apache. I can't get Apache restarted to save my life.

In the error log it reads:
Syntax error on line 69 of C:/xampp/apache/conf/extra/httpd-xampp.conf:
<Directory "/xampp/htdocs/xampp"> path is invalid.

How can this be? Everything is there untouched from when things were working just fine.

Also, I have received the error that it can't find C:\xampp\apache\bin\httpd.exe. The file is intact and nothing is on port 80 or 443.

Please help.
