on a network drive apache runs well, but php not

I've installed xampp with the default settings and I create a symlink in the htdocs folder (the default documentroot) pointing to my network drive (the command was this: mklink /d mine \\MINE\PUBLIC\Horizontweb). Apache runs well, displays all of the .html documents, but if I want to see a .php file, i always get the following error message:

Warning: Unknown: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required 'C:/xampp/htdocs/mine/quintzjeans/html/index.php' (include_path='.;C:\xampp\php\PEAR') in Unknown on line 0

Can you help me, what can be the problem?
