Forgive me, but..

I hear Apache 2 serves up Asp. but does Xampp come preconfigured to do so?

if not, what is required to make it do so?

In XAMPP 1.7.3 you can enable or disable ASP by running \xampp\setup_xampp.bat file and selecting item 7.

The asp.conf file can be found in the \xampp\apache\conf\extra folder.
