Port number hasn't been changed accrodingly in XAMPP Control

Hi all,

I am using XAMPP 1.73 for windows.
I have changed the listen port number to 8080 in the httpd.conf file, and I can access the default index page of xampp in localhost with this URL:
http://localhost:8080/xampp/

The only problem is that when I press the Admin button in the Xampp Control Panel Application, the URL shown to me is always:
http://localhost/xampp/

How come the Port number hasn't been changed accrodingly in XAMPP Control Panel?
