Getting JSP Working Through Apache

I have both Apache and Tomcat installed, I have servers running on port 80 and 8080 (Windows XP SP3).

How do you get Apache (port 80) to process JSP?

If I ceate a .jsp file that just shows me the current date and time (http://localhost/index.jsp), the html renders but I have no server interaction.

I installed Tomcat using "xampp-tomcat-addon-win32-6.0.20.exe".

Any help or pointer in the right direction, I would be most grateful.
