Apache Friends Support Forum

I am using windows 7 ultimate 32 bit. I Installed xampp and completed the Joomla "quick start" application. After which I tried to restart Joomla to use it but when I tried I could not get it to load and when I tried to check the xampp installation the page would not load. When I tried to reinstall xampp I get the following error "some installation files are corrupt" At the end of the file list it shows "CRC failed in xampp\php\icudt34.dll". I have tried several times to redownload the file with the same results. Any suggestions?
