hi all,

i wish to set up a local mail server for my local network.

i have installed xampp and mercury.

I want it to be able to send mail among the computers, do i need a mail client on the client pc? what else do i need?

please help me

Project running on:

Window XP 32 bit
Xampp version : 1.7.3

There are some help files *.hlp in the \xampp\MercuryMail folder that may be of assistance to get you started.

In those files you should find the links to the author's web site and forum.

Those on your LAN that require to send and receive email require an email client like Outlook Express that comes with Windows or similar.

The author of Mercury Mail also has an excellent email client - Pegasus Mail - but some may find it rather complex.
