Hi all,
I'm very new to this thing and this is my very first time. My question I guess is very obvious: Where in the world do you save those first "Hello World" hello.php files so you can then go to localhost and view them? I am using Xampp and it was saved to my C:\ directory. Would be greatly appreciated

Missing support info - what XAMPP version and which Windows OS?
So assuming latest stable XAMPP version.

This thing  C:\xampp\readme_en.txt file will help...

...also these 2 have lots of answers:

That's a very old XAMPP as the latest stable is 1.7.2 and did the reading in the links above help with understanding XAMPP a little better?

BTW the XAMPP version number is at the very top of the readme_en.txt file.

Thanks Izzy,

I did some research and found the place, xampp > hotdocs. Actually, my xampp is 1.7.2, not 1.2.7. Had one of those moments. Cheeers :)
