have some problem with installing PHP scripts on XAMPP

I have recently installed XAMPP on my windows XP. people in my LAN can access my php installed scripts such as SMF witch is a forum script. but there is a problem and that's when they enter the URL 192.168.1.100/smf (192.168.1.100 is my LAN IP) they get in to the main page of forum but none of the images such as template images are shown. they can also access the images using 192.168.1.100/smf/an image address.jpg but I don't know why browser doesn't show the images automatically and the template doesn't load up as it should.
