Can't refresh CSS files?

Hi!

I'm a total beginner who realizes that this particular question has probably been asked a billion times, but I'm not even sure what to search for and can't find any good answers so please bear with me!

I have installed XAMPP and am running a Wordpress installation on it. Everything went smoothly and so far XAMPP is very easy to use (appreciated!), but it cannot refresh my CSS files for some reason. Any changes I make to PHP or HTML is reflected instantly on my localhost, but no changes to CSS ever appear.

I thought I defeated this issue when I set my Wordpress wp-config.php to open my localhost as the WP siteurl, and I could then spend all of last night making quick edits to CSS with no issues. Today, though, without even disabling the XAMPP and Apache server last night (had to run in the middle of my session), it has stopped taking CSS updates again. I have restarted everything involved, checked the XAMPP admin for something about this and can't find any way to fix this on Google.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks. :)

What happens if you clear your browsers cache?

Thanks, but it unfortunately doesn't help... I use Firefox and used the thorough cleaning feature to remove everything but cookies, and still no luck.

AFAIK Wordpress has own cache-functions.
Google should give the answer how to clear this cache.
