How to broadcast a live stream to my own home server?

Hello everyone,

I have Windows and I have setup FME before with Justin.tv and UStream.

But I do not like their layouts and lag.

I only plan to stream to a few people, and I have my own personal home webserver.

It's Windows XP and Xampp Bundle is installed.

Is there any way I can broadcast to my home server?

and if there's any way possible, to my website hosted by JustHost.com?

thanks!!!

Try http://www.orb.com/

Read all of this article which has lots of tips.

Off topic here if your XAMPP installation works as this is really a 3rd party app/script/addon etc. issue - I see you also posted an identical topic on the CodingForums.

You really need to search the Internet as there are many related sites, articles and solutions both freeware and commercial that will help you achieve your goal.

I actually did.

BUT,

It's complicated because of my setup with my TV Tuner and Flash Media Encoder.

After some research, it looks like I have to build a Flash Media Server so I can broadcast it live with FME...
