Apache Friends Support Forum

Im attempting instal xamplite but apache wont run for some reason. Ive tried reinstaling it and the regular xamp but the same error keeps occuring! Ive included the technical details below, any help would be much appreciated! I just want to get learning PHP ....

I have Coldfusion instaled also , could this be part of the problem ??

Try starting Apache using the apache_start.bat file.

Look in the apache error log file in the apache\log folder.
